Chef Lady Tee

Tara Taylor — also known as Chef Lady Tee — hails from right outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a devoted wife, married for six years, a proud mother of four children, and a loving grandmother of three grandchildren.

Chef Lady Tee earned her degree from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, graduating in 2012 with a focus in culinary arts. Her academic foundation, combined with years of real-world experience, established her as a true culinary professional.

Teaching is one of her deepest passions. Watching people learn, grow, and blossom in the kitchen brings her immeasurable joy. She believes being part of someone's culinary journey is a blessing — and she shows up to that calling every single day.

As a personal chef and caterer, Chef Lady Tee brings the same dedication to every client engagement — whether a small family dinner or a large-scale catering event. Her goal is always the same: to nourish, delight, and create memories through food.

Where It All Began — 2008

Owner Tara Taylor actually started her business journey back in 2008 in the Southeast area of Pennsylvania, where she is originally from. Surrounded by people she knew and a community that supported her, she began cultivating her skills and building the foundation of what would become Faith Over Fear PC NC.

Stepping Out on Faith — 2015

After stepping out on faith and relocating her family to Apex, NC in 2015, she set her sights on growing her business and expanding her reach beyond anything she had previously imagined. The move was bold — coming from a location where she knew everyone, to a location where she knew no one. That transition came with many challenges, adversities, and hardships.

Trusting the Process

Not giving up on her dreams and her passion, she kept her faith, asking God to lead her. Along the way she changed up her style a little, adding other products and services, allowing her brand to evolve and grow. Each pivot was not a retreat — it was a refinement.
